Engineering anomalous Floquet Majorana modes and their time evolution in a helical Shiba chain

We theoretically explore the Floquet generation of Majorana end modes (MEMs; both regular 0 and anomalous $\ensuremath{\pi}$ modes) implementing a periodic sinusoidal modulation in chemical potential an experimentally feasible setup based on one-dimensional chain magnetic impurity atoms having spin spiral configuration (out-of-plane N\'eel type) fabricated surface common bulk $s$-wave superconductor. obtain rich phase diagram parameter space, highlighting possibility generating multiple 0- $\ensuremath{\pi}$-MEMs localized at chain. also study real-time evolution these emergent MEMs, especially when they start to appear time domain. These MEMs are topologically characterized by employing dynamical winding number. observe that existing perturbative analysis is unable explain numerical findings, indicating complex mechanism behind formation Shiba minigap, which characteristically distinct from other setups, e.g., Rashba nanowire model. discuss possible experimental parameters connection our Our work paves way realize magnet-superconductor heterostructure.
